We're looking for an experienced Senior VMware Engineer (VCF) to play a key role in designing, building and optimising cutting-edge virtualization and cloud platforms that support mission-critical services.
This is an opportunity to work with the latest VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) technologies, lead technical delivery, influence architecture decisions, and contribute to large-scale transformation programmes within highly secure environments.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior VMware Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our infrastructure modernisation initiatives, responsible for:
- Designing, deploying and optimising VMware environments, including VCF 5.x and above.
- Implementing and managing VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and the VMware Aria Suite, including vRealize Operations, Automation, Log Insight and NSX.
- Delivering resilient, scalable and secure hybrid cloud solutions.
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure challenges across compute, networking and storage.
- Driving automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform or similar technologies.
- Producing high-quality architecture and technical documentation (HLDs and LLDs).
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring to colleagues across infrastructure teams.
- Supporting platform resilience, modernisation and operational excellence in secure environments.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from professionals with:
- Significant experience in VMware engineering and enterprise virtualization environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
- Experience with VMware Aria Suite, SRM and ideally NSX and/or AVI technologies.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of networking, storage technologies and Active Directory.
- Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Python or Terraform.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.
