Senior ArcSight SIEM Engineer in Erskine

Candidates must be a sole UK national/British citizen and have resided in the UK for the past 10 years to meet current security clearance requirements. This role requires high level security clearance. Based in Erskine, Scotland.

At DXC, one of our platinum accounts has openings for SIEM Engineers at varying skill levels. The successful candidate will need to be innovative and motivated with a high level of autonomy, able to develop and present secure solutions to leadership and technical teams. Due to the customer requirements, successful applicants must be eligible for high level UK Security clearance.

• Drive technical and architectural improvement of the SIEM managed service and tools used to deliver service to customer.
• Operational Management involving Support, Incident and Change Control.
• Version management, ensuring appropriate SIEM version levels to maintain within vendor support.
• Onboarding of new technologies, certificate renewals, license usage, troubleshooting and tuning.
• Maintain documentation of the managed infrastructure.
• Engage with other DXC technical teams assisting technically where appropriate.
• Act as a technical escalation point for SIEM specific incidents for both service and technical matters.
• Evidence on being able to architectural design, review and implement Elastic SIEM, Tanium and ArcSight SIEM and their individual components.
• Evidence of trouble‐shooting skills on Elastic SIEM, Tanium and ArcSight SIEM and their individual components.
• Mentoring experience, needed for when training junior members of the team.

• Strong Elastic SIEM and Tanium skills and experience.
• Experience in ArcSight SIEM.
• Competent in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Good level of networking troubleshooting skills.
