Velonetic represents the joint ventures between DXC Technology, the International Underwriting Association (IUA), and Lloyd’s of London. We have been operating for over 20 years in the London market, processing over £101 billion worth of premium and claims transactions today. We are building a new digital platform and services that will enable our customers to move transactions and money through the processing lifecycle with greater efficiency and speed.

Our core business services involve performing checks on insurance documents, processing premium transactions, and processing claims transactions. The individual will reside in the UK and have the Right to Work in the UK.

Job Overview

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an individual who wants to grow their insurance understanding. The Sanctions Technician works under the direction of the Sanctions Manager and is central to ensuring that the department is compliant with all US, EU, and UK Sanctions regulations.

What you will be doing:

  • Carry out Sanctions screening work.
  • Work closely with the team, the business, and compliance.
  • Represent DXC (Velonetic) when working with various customers i.e., Brokers, underwriters, managing agents, legal representatives.
  • Clear potential sanctions concerns.
  • Support sanctions regulatory change.
  • Flag incidents.
  • Monitor trends.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Identify quality concerns and escalate for investigation when needed.
  • Proactively support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure non-compliance and persistent issues are escalated to the Sanctions Manager.
  • Ensure high standards are met.
