At DXC, one of our platinum accounts has openings for Unix System Administrators at varying skill levels. Your role will include:

• Implementing standards, policies, and procedures for continual service improvement.
• Providing first and second level technical support on incidents and problems.
• Monitoring overall system performance and ensuring smooth system functionality.
• Assisting in building compliance with processes and policies.
• Working to ITIL best practices.
• Taking a proactive approach towards looking for risks and problems.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux systems (Red Hat, Debian, Solaris, AIX, etc.).
• Performance tuning and monitoring (top, vmstat, iostat, sar, netstat).
• Exposure to automation software such as Ansible/Puppet.
• Knowledge of scripting with Bash, Python, and/or Git.
• Experience of AWS.
