Your role will include:
- Implementing standards, policies, and procedures for continual service improvement.
- Providing first and second level technical support on incidents and problems.
- Monitoring overall system performance and ensuring smooth system functionality.
- Assisting in building compliance with processes and policies.
Working to ITIL best practices:
- A proactive approach towards looking for risks and problems.
- Proficiency in UNIX/Linux systems (Red Hat, Debian, Solaris, AIX, etc.).
- Performance tuning and monitoring (top, vmstat, iostat, sar, netstat).
- Exposure to automation software such as Ansible/Puppet.
- Knowledge of scripting with Bash, Python, and/or Git.
- Experience of AWS.
