Apprenticeship Programme

The Velonetic Apprenticeship Programme offers a recognised qualification alongside practical experience for a full‑time equivalent role. Apprentices gain hands‑on experience, support through a buddy, and a permanent contract at programme completion.

Learning Pathway

You will complete the Level 3 Financial Services Administrator apprenticeship, learning to deliver customer outcomes within regulatory and organisational frameworks. In addition, you’ll complete the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Certificate in Insurance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Joining as an Insurance Premium Technician, you will perform checks on insurance documents, process premium transactions and claims, and support the Operations team.

  • Conduct technical checks on insurance documentation to ensure accuracy
  • Identify discrepancies or errors within documentation
  • Use systems to support technical processing, with supervision or referral where applicable
  • Liaise with customers and brokers to resolve queries and issues
  • Input details into databases to initiate settlements or updates
  • Complete accurate reporting related to the work being processed
  • Support and contribute to innovation and process improvement projects
  • Review and validate insurance documentation
  • Take ownership of your own workload

Entry Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs grade 4 and above, including Maths and English
  • 3 A Levels grade C and above (or equivalent)
