Security Clearance: At DXC Technology, we deliver essential IT services that help our customers modernise systems, optimise data architectures, and ensure security and scalability across public and private sector organisations. We are looking for a Site Support Engineer to provide on-site field support to customers including installation, servicing, and repairing of systems and equipment.
- Provide first-line technical support by resolving customer queries, diagnosing faults, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams.
- Deliver on-site field support, including installation, maintenance, repair, and break-fix activities for managed devices, systems, and equipment.
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with customer engineering teams to gather requirements, assess design changes, and support overall solution delivery.
- Conduct security audits of network-connected devices, including scanning, compliance checks, risk identification, and reporting.
- Manage IT assets, stock, and loan equipment throughout their lifecycle, ensuring adherence to inventory and asset management procedures.
Experience working with the company's hardware, software, and equipment products. Experience working with customer technology and support requirements. Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, and software. Experience working with engineering principles and practices. Basic Network Knowledge (Patching, tracing switch information etc.). Service Now Ticketing System Experience.
