Join DXC Technology’s Insurance Software and BPS division, a global leader in digital transformation and outsourcing services for the insurance industry. We seek a Business Analyst with deep expertise in UK ceded reinsurance to drive operational excellence and digital transformation for our clients. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with stakeholders, optimize reinsurance processes, and deliver solutions using DXC’s industry-leading platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to capture and validate business requirements.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Analyse existing ceded reinsurance workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements that reduce cost and improve data quality.
  • Work with ceded reinsurance platforms such as Global XLPro, ELGAR, or DXC SICScede.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maximize system capabilities.
  • Use SQL Server for data analysis, reporting, and automation.
  • Develop and execute test cases; support UAT and ensure smooth implementation of changes.
  • Create detailed documentation including workflows, user guides, and technical specs.
  • Deliver regular reports on system performance and project milestones.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in ceded reinsurance, with strong exposure to the UK insurance market.
  • Familiarity with LORS and London Market processes is highly desirable.
  • Experience leading client-facing projects or teams is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server.
  • Experience with Global XLPro, ELGAR, or DXC SICScede is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of data migration and analytics is a bonus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
