This role will involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team to design and develop solutions using Azure/AWS and other cloud technologies, delivering high‑availability, automated, open‑source solutions.

  • 5 Days onsite in Gloucestershire

Must be a sole British citizen who has lived in the UK for over 10 years.

  • Interact with project roles to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organisational strategic direction.
  • Advise the customer on the latest technologies and methodologies, designing and implementing innovative approaches to their problems using automation.
  • Understand security policies and implement solutions to satisfy security requirements.
  • Design and implement solutions with high availability and scalability.

  • Experience and knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Proficiency in Python, React, and Go.
  • Familiarity with deploying applications to cloud architecture and AWS environments.
  • Experience with web application services such as NGINX, Apache, JBoss.
  • Experience with Test‑Driven or Behaviour‑Driven development.
  • API development and integration (preferably using Go).
  • Experience with monitoring systems such as ELK, Nagios, New Relic, Data Dog, Splunk.
  • Working knowledge of digital delivery processes and methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of the Atlassian Toolset.
  • Knowledge of Java Script front‑end frameworks.
  • Understanding of front‑end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming.
  • Understanding of database schemas and query languages.
  • Knowledge of source control technologies such as Bitbucket, Git, Subversion.
  • Understanding of how to deploy and configure AWS components to meet tight security requirements.
  • Awareness of security identity, access management, and authentication using ADFS, SSL/TLS certificates, OIDC, OAuth2, Keycloak, or Redhat SSO.
