Role
We are hiring PaaS System Administrators for varying skill levels. The successful candidate will work within a small team, applying DevOps engineering methodologies within a cloud development environment. The role involves developing and supporting an existing OpenShift on OpenStack PaaS solution with an emphasis on zero‑ops through strong automation skills. It requires an innovative, analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail. Your responsibilities will include implementing standards, policies, and procedures for continual service improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide first‑ and second‑level technical support on incidents and problems
- Monitor overall system performance and ensure smooth operation
- Create, maintain, and utilise documentation
- Assist building compliance with our processes and policies
- Work autonomously or within a high‑performing team environment

Desirable Skills and Technologies
Ideally Required
- At least two years of hands‑on production experience on Linux and OpenShift
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Experience with role‑based access control in OpenShift (including SCCs)
- Good troubleshooting skills on OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Good troubleshooting skills in Docker and Podman
- Confidence in using GIT/Source Control
- Solid CI/CD pipeline understanding
- Experience with Ansible automation
- Ability to write technical documentation
Desirable Experience
- Experience with ArgoCD, Istio/Service Mesh, Tekton, and Helm Charts
- OpenShift monitoring and custom alerting with Prometheus Alertmanager
- Use of CheckMK to monitor physical infrastructure
- Experience with Red Hat Quay Container Registry
- Experience with Red Hat CEPH Storage
- Experience with Red Hat OpenStack
- Experience maintaining Dell PowerEdge Servers
