We are growing our UK Sales team, seeking a highly experienced Senior Cross‑Industry Sales Professional to drive strategic growth across Scotland. We are a High‑Performance sales organization, thriving from working with our customers – often Industry Leaders – solving complex business challenges and positioning solutions in your focus area together with our skilled Presales and Solutioning organizations.

This role is responsible for generating new business across Scottish Government, Financial Services, Commercial, and other key sectors, selling DXC’s full‑stack portfolio, including cloud transformation, applications, cyber security, data and analytics, industry solutions, and managed services. This is a senior, outward‑facing role for a proven seller with deep industry expertise, strong executive presence, and a track record of winning complex, multi‑tower deals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead large, strategic sales opportunities across Scotland spanning multiple DXC offerings (cloud, cyber, apps, modernisation, workplace, data, consulting, BPO, industry solutions).
  • Build and close a strong pipeline across Government, Financial Services, Commercial, and other strategic industries.
  • Own complex sales cycles from early shaping through solution design, bid orchestration, commercial negotiation, and handover to delivery.
  • Drive multimillion‑pound deal strategy, value engineering, and executive‑level positioning.
  • Align opportunities to DXC’s global go‑to‑market strategy and partner ecosystems (Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Build and strengthen long‑term C‑suite and Director‑level relationships across Scottish Government, banks, insurers, energy firms, utilities, and major commercial enterprises.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding each sector’s transformation pressures and aligning DXC’s capabilities to business outcomes.
  • Lead senior‑level dialogues across strategy, digital transformation, operational resilience, cloud modernisation, cyber readiness, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Maintain deep understanding of Scotland’s public sector landscape, including central government, local authorities, health, policing, and agencies.
  • Leverage knowledge of Financial Services regulatory drivers, risk and compliance pressures, and digital innovation trends.
  • Track commercial sector demand patterns across energy, utilities, retail, manufacturing, and professional services.
  • Provide market intelligence to DXC leadership, influencing strategic planning and investment.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, industry leads, delivery executives, and global practice teams to build compelling client‑centric propositions.
  • Lead virtual teams across pre‑sales, bid management, finance, legal, and partners to produce high‑quality proposals.
  • Mentor junior sales colleagues and support the development of sales best practices across the UK&I region.
  • Ensure compliance with sales governance, pipeline hygiene, and forecasting requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven track record in senior‑level sales roles within IT services, consulting, or digital transformation environments.
  • Demonstrated success winning complex, high‑value, multi‑tower deals.
  • Strong experience across multiple sectors, ideally including Scottish Government, Financial Services, and Commercial markets.
  • Deep understanding of digital transformation and full‑stack services (cloud, apps, cyber, data, managed services, consulting).
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience working at C‑suite level.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • Existing network within the Scottish Government, Scottish public bodies, major banks, insurers, and large enterprises.
  • Familiarity with UK and Scottish Government procurement frameworks (e.g., CCS, SG procurement).
  • Understanding of major cloud and technology partner ecosystems.
  • Experience shaping complex business cases, financial models, and commercial constructs.
