Due to continued growth, DXC Technology has a great opportunity for an experienced Service Pursuit Solution Integrator to join our team in either Erskine, Newcastle, Farnborough, or London in a hybrid capacity. The role requires British Nationals with SC clearance or eligibility for vetting.
The Global Service Pursuit Solution Integrator (GSPSI) leads the solution strategy for medium complexity pursuits within the Global Solutioning Services (GSS) scope. The GSPSI works closely with the GSS Vertical Lead, Pursuit Manager, Opportunity Owner and clients to establish a clear requirements baseline and solution strategy that meets client needs, aligns with DXC objectives, and articulates the tasks and deliverables required of Service Line Architects and project resources. They are responsible for end-to-end solution integrity when required to lead medium complexity pursuits, while working closely with Service Lines, stakeholders and partners to deliver a competitive and deliverable solution.

- The GSPSI is responsible for the Solution Strategy and integrity of medium complexity pursuits.
- Discharged actions from OA for pursuits that require solutioning support, in collaboration with the Vertical Lead, Pursuit Manager and Opportunity Owner.
- Work with the Opportunity Owner, Pursuit Manager and client to understand client requirements and business outcomes, where required.
- CMO established and understood for pro-active cross-sell opportunities.
- Development of solution strategy and approach, where required.
- Understand and build client solutions that leverage GSS technical strategies, products and offerings.
- Work in a secure environment and understand data classification and security measures in all aspects of solution and proposal development.
- Lead the solution; tracking and combining solution strands from multiple Service Lines and vendors into a cohesive whole, where required.
- Clearly articulated tasks and deliverables required of Service Line Architects.
- Consultative support of governance and readiness where solution is not within the scope of Service Lines.
- Identify reusable design artifacts.
- Smooth transition into delivery, where required.
Key Activities
- Support deal shaping where solutioning support is required to ensure the deal is winnable, meets client needs and aligns with DXC strategy.
- Develop high-level solution, where required.
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to design the solution and agree on key solution parameters prior to costing activities.
- Engage DXC service towers, technical teams and 3rd party vendors as needed to extract required technical content and quotations; chairing and driving solutioning calls as required.
- Define, own and maintain the DXC Pursuit solution; acting as a point of contact for Q&A, monitoring, receiving and processing of responses.
- Liaise with DXC Supply Chain in the validation of 3rd party vendor quotations to ensure correct commercial terms and discounts.
- Define and document key Risks, Assumptions, Constraints (RAC) related to the technical solution.
- Populate technical sections within the DXC proposal and support QA reviews of Pursuit documentation and supporting collateral.
- Lead solution team within pursuit team, where required.
- Cost and resource model completion, encompassing labour, hardware and software components, utilising standard toolsets; including the production and presentation of related reporting to key stakeholders where required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, partners and DXC internal stakeholders to establish trust and credibility.
- Lead and support solution governance activities, negotiating with governance leaders on deal needs and financial treatment.
- Populate Solution documentation and present this to GSS Governance audiences; responsible for the completion of technical actions and obtaining mandated approvals.
- Follow mandated solution governance guidelines, ensuring proper governance of the solution and driving a successful outcome where required.
- Provide Technical support at GSS Deal Review Governance.
- Support DXC Financial and Commercial teams by providing financial information related to supported pursuits.
- Supports pre- and post-contract lessons learned.
- Supports cross-skill and upskilling plans of GSS team.
- Supports transition of proposals into delivery, where required.
