At DXC Technology we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Integration Solutions (IS) Service Line Architect (SLA) to join our Integration Solutions (DXC Intelligent Operations Platform, Enterprise Service Management (ESM), SIAM, and ITSM Integrations Practice in the UK. Successful candidates are required to be UK based, currently hold SC clearance or eligible for vetting.
As an Integration Solutions Service Line Architect, you will shape, propose, and assure complex Enterprise Service Management (ESM) and Service Integration and Management (SIAM) solutions for large‑scale organisations, frequently within the UK Public Sector. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will define and govern solution architectures across the DXC Intelligent Operations Platform, leading ITSM tools (including ServiceNow, SMAX, CASD, Remedy), API and e‑bond integrations, and observability platforms (such as Dynatrace).
You will collaborate with clients, bid and pursuit teams, and delivery leadership to support solutions from pre‑sales through assurance, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and commercially viable.
- Pre‑Sales Solutioning & Deal Leadership
- Lead consultative solution design from initial discovery through to deal closure, translating business objectives and constraints into clear, deliverable architectures and cost models.
- Own the solution scope during pursuits, ensuring architectural integrity, managing risks and assumptions, contributing to commercial strategy, and providing price‑to‑win inputs and executive‑level value narratives.
- Develop and deliver high‑impact client presentations and demonstrations, confidently representing solution capability in customer forums.
- ITIL‑Aligned Service Design & Governance
- Integrate and align DXC managed services within an ITIL 4‑aligned service framework, leveraging existing client or DXC internal processes, roles, RACI models, governance forums, and supporting artefacts.
- Review client SLA and KPI frameworks, working with DXC Service Lines and delivery teams to validate achievability, measurability, reporting and alignment with the proposed operating model, and supporting informed discussions internally and with clients.
- ITSM Tooling & Integrations
- Review and design ITSM integration architectures between the DXC Intelligent Operations Platform and customer ITSM systems, leveraging e‑bonding, REST/API, and batch interfaces across incidents, changes, requests, CMDB, catalogue, monitoring, and related domains.
- Review and validate data models, mappings, and reconciliation approaches to ensure solutions support accurate service reporting, automation, and operational integrity.
- SIAM Operating Model
- Review and define SIAM operating model approaches, covering governance structures, service partitioning, process integration, multi‑supplier roles and responsibilities, and performance management alignment.
- Support and assure engagements where DXC acts as Lead Service Integrator or Performing Supplier, validating role clarity, accountability boundaries, and alignment with the proposed commercial and delivery model.
- Observability & Monitoring
- Review and define the Dynatrace monitoring approach, including discovery strategy, instrumentation patterns, tagging standards, dashboard concepts, alerting models, and supporting demonstrations where required, ensuring alignment with service KPIs and automation policies.
- Service Catalogue & Fulfilment
- Review and define Service Catalogue structures and request fulfilment models, reviewing workflows to identify opportunities for automation across Service Lines, shift‑left strategies, and improved user experience, aligned to the proposed operating model and tooling capabilities.
- Cross‑Functional Scope
- Review and support cross‑functional aspects of the solution, including security and compliance guardrails, non‑functional requirements, accreditation considerations, data and reporting, auditability, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Transition & Transformation (T&T)
- Define Transition & Transformation approaches for assigned scope areas, covering cutover strategy, adoption considerations, data migration approach, hyper‑care, and operational readiness criteria.
- Validate delivery feasibility and support clear handovers to build and run teams, ensuring transition assumptions, dependencies, and risks are well understood.
- Portfolio Feedback & Practice Leadership
- Capture and consolidate field and customer feedback to inform the evolution and refinement of DXC portfolio and practice offerings.
- Mentor and coach Service Line Architects, promoting solution quality, consistency, and reuse through repeatable patterns, standards, and accelerators.
What you’ll bring
