We are seeking an experienced Business Lead with strong Life/400 and Life & Pensions expertise to join our Insurance Software team and play a pivotal role in the discovery and migration to Life/400. This role will act as the business authority within the programme, ensuring that requirements, processes, and outcomes are clearly defined and aligned with client objectives. The Business Lead will bridge business stakeholders and delivery teams, shaping discovery outputs and ensuring they provide the foundation for successful execution and migration phases. Onshore presence in Ireland is essential to strengthen DXC's partnership with the client and ensure meaningful engagement during discovery.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with clients to understand business strategies, operating models, and challenges in Life & Pensions.
- Act as the primary business lead for the Life/400 discovery programme, capturing and validating business requirements.
- Develop and document business processes, target capabilities, and information models to support transformation objectives.
- Collaborate with programme managers, technical leads, and solution architects to ensure requirements are fully addressed.
- Shape business cases and roadmaps for system modernisation and migration initiatives.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Life & Pensions products (traditional and unitālinked) and Life/400 / Integral Life Classic systems.
- Lead workshops with client stakeholders to define and validate requirements, processes, and designs.
- Ensure traceability of requirements through to delivery, acting as a key link between business and IT teams.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and business improvement across insurance operations.
- Contribute to programme governance, ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
- Mentor junior analysts or backfill resources to ensure continuity of knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of Life & Pensions insurance products and policy administration processes.
- Proven experience as a Business Lead, Senior Business Analyst, or Business Architect in transformation or migration programmes.
- Handsāon experience with Life/400, Integral Life Classic, or similar Life & Pensions platforms.
- Ability to model and map business processes and define target business capabilities.
- Experience shaping and supporting transformation programmes within the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical and problemāsolving ability with a focus on delivering business value.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead workshops and liaise with senior stakeholders.
- Experience working with Irish insurance customers and familiarity with the local market.
- Knowledge of migration tools such as Policy Data Loader (PDL) and Product Data Loader (PDG).
- Certifications in business architecture or frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, BIZBOK).
- Exposure to agile delivery environments (SAFe, Scrum, Hybrid).
- Familiarity with integration, digitalisation, and data modernisation in Life & Pensions.
