Field Support Engineer Location Frimley - 5 days per week onsite Security Clearance Candidates are required to be eligible for SC clearance and be a sole UK national.

We are looking for a Site / Field Support Engineer to provide on-site field support to customers including installation, servicing and repairing of systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support by resolving customer queries, diagnosing faults, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Act as the primary customer liaison and central point of contact for administrative and technical matters, ensuring regular communication and status updates.
  • Deliver on-site field support, including installation, maintenance, repair, and break-fix activities for managed devices, systems, and equipment.
  • Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with system design, process flows, discrete modelling, and the development or enhancement of technical solutions and programs.
  • Collaborate with customer engineering teams to gather requirements, assess design changes, and support overall solution delivery.
  • Conduct security audits of network-connected devices, including scanning, compliance checks, risk identification, and reporting.
  • Manage IT assets, stock, and loan equipment throughout their lifecycle, ensuring adherence to inventory and asset management procedures.
