DXC is seeking a SAP Release / Capacity Manager to join our client-focused SAP delivery team. This role involves working with account leadership and clients to coordinate delivery across a portfolio of requirements, including projects, small changes, and enhancements, ensuring smooth ongoing delivery. Experience in SAP delivery and understanding the SAP lifecycle are essential. Due to client account requirements, SC security clearance is necessary. Applicants must be sole British Nationals who have lived and worked in the UK continuously for the past 5 years. Dual nationals are currently not considered.
Responsibilities
- Release Coordination: Plan and manage pre-release, release, and post-release activities. Ensure readiness of teams, systems, and stakeholders. Provide input on release timelines based on capacity and readiness. Collaborate with project managers for release governance and deployment. Facilitate release meetings to discuss progress, risks, and issues. Conduct post-release reviews for continuous improvement.
- Capacity Management: Forecast resource needs for releases, projects, and BAU activities. Monitor and resolve resource conflicts. Coordinate with Program Managers and Functional Leads to align resources. Identify capacity risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Governance Reporting: Present updates on release readiness, capacity, and risks to governance forums.
Deliverables:
- Develop detailed release plans with milestones.
- Recommend release timelines for approval.
- Prepare post-release evaluation reports.
- Maintain documentation including release notes and deployment instructions.
- Ensure end-user training and support materials are available.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide resource forecasts and utilization reports.
- Log and escalate capacity conflicts or risks.
- Approve operational resource adjustments.
- Escalate unresolved issues to governance forums.
