Traffic Manager Role
The Traffic Manager reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for ensuring depot service level delivery and collection targets are achieved within budget, while maintaining the correct service levels for all Customers in compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and produce daily and weekly reports as required.
- Ensure collection conformance to standards.
- Control all key vehicle controls.
- Monitor and review operational performance, taking timely action to address issues.
- Ensure all legal requirements are met.
- Manage sub-contractors effectively to provide efficient service within budget.
- Maintain a robust pre-brief and de-brief process.
- Continuously improve service levels and reduce costs.
- Manage health and safety procedures.
- Manage the Traffic team effectively.
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in logistics or distribution industry.
