Overview

The role of the Traffic Clerk is to provide administrative support for the traffic teams ensuring accurate flow of information throughout traffic and warehousing operations and escalating issues where they occur.

Responsibilities

  • Support the on‑the‑road management of traffic operations through communication and guidance.
  • Ensure all required administrative tasks are completed in line with company requirements.
  • Deal with customer/driver enquiries in a polite and effective manner.
  • Ensure service level targets and KPIs are achieved by maximising fleet utilisation.
  • Escalate service complaints to ensure effective resolution and protect the company image and brand.
  • Maintain high competence in Excel and IT literacy.

Qualifications

  • Preferred previous experience in traffic, warehousing or logistics operations.
  • Demonstrated good local geographical knowledge.
