Overall Purpose of Role
The role is to manage the transport administration by supporting the operation with all sub-contractor queries to ensure that the DX Service Centres are supported to deliver a service in line with Customer Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure all trunk vehicles from SC's to the central hubs and back to the SC's are available.
- Ensure all details of any driver change / agency drivers are published to the operations team via the daily trunk update document.
- Take responsibility for organising additional vehicles as required.
- Maintain contractor files ensuring all compliance documentation is current.
- Manage cost by identifying areas of efficiency in the trunking network.
- Encourage and promote positive employee relations throughout the Operation encouraging a 'Can Do' attitude.
- Provide administrative assistance to aid the night operation.
- Complete all reports accurately and ensure all reports are kept to the strict timelines.
- Provide good quality pro-active information for the night and day shift so reporting is of a high standard and all sub-contractors are paid as per SLA.
- Communicate with all SC's to ensure the Hub is providing high quality service.
