Warehouse Operative (Heavy Lifting Role) *** This is a Nightshift vacancy *** This is a physically demanding role within a busy, friendly, and well-organised warehouse environment. This position is not for the faint-hearted and requires a strong work ethic and good physical fitness. Role summary: DX Warehouse Operatives are responsible to ensure the safe and efficient unloading and loading of freight from vehicles into, and from the site. They will also support the delivery operation to ensure the correct freight is loaded to complete the delivery routes Role Responsibilities: Represent DX in a professional manner at all times Loading and unloading vehicles ( heavy lifting involved ) Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork / scanner information Ensure that customers freight is transported, stored safely and treated with respect Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies, including the correct use of all PPE Requirements: Must be available for full-time work and have the Right to Work (RTW) Physically fit and able to carry out heavy manual work Must live locally or be able to drive to Cannock/Burntwood Previous warehouse or production experience preferred (full training provided) Reliable, punctual, and hard-working Able to work well as part of a team Flexible with shift patterns Available for immediate start Benefits: At DX, our people are the foundation of our success.
