Overall Purpose of Role: To achieve profitable growth in the Express division by analysing customer quotes, supporting the Sales team and supporting with commercial projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analysing tariff sales quotations, discussion with the Sales team and production of customer service agreements.
- Support with bespoke quotations when requested by the Head of Commercial.
- Checking of sales documentation for account implementation.
- Customer profile reviews – issue identification & resolution.
- Analysis of customer manifest data to provide information for decision making.
- Compilation of commercial statistical information as required.
- Sales admin support and query resolution.
- Ad hoc project support as required.
Measures:
- Accurate & timely processing of quotations.
- Quotations & agreement documents produced to a high standard.
- Positive feedback from internal stakeholders.
- Assisting with projects on time to benefit the business.
Skills:
- Has strong interpersonal & communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Shows initiative with a pro-active approach to problem solving.
- Works well within a team, in a fast paced environment, professional, high integrity and possesses a strong can-do attitude.
- High levels of attention to detail, numeracy & analytical skills. Can deal with data and is able to present information in a clear & concise way.
- Excel intermediate skills.
- Previous experience in Logistics and/or Pricing would be advantageous.
- A Business qualification with the desire to further their career would be advantageous.
- Minimum 1 Years’ experience.
