The Ecommerce Operations Lead plays a key role in analysing performance, managing projects and delivering results in our ecommerce business. The Ecommerce Operations Lead will lead the continued buildout and enhancement of our ecommerce data and analytics environment, establish and manage first and second level key performance indicators and work across the organisation to deliver key initiatives to grow the top and bottom line through ecommerce.
Responsibilities:
- Define the end-to-end measurement plan for dwyeromega.com
- Establish KPI taxonomies and benchmarks and own the analytics roadmap including data capture, governance, dashboards, etc.
- Own analytics implementation (GA/GA4), consent management alignment, and tag management across web and app; ensure accurate UTM and channel taxonomy governance.
- Build executive dashboards and operational scorecards for weekly, monthly, and QBR cadences (by channel, market, product line, and cohort).
- Connect behavioral, transactional, and product data to enable segmentation, lifecycle automation, and personalized content/commerce experiences.
- Collaborate with Sales, CX and Service teams to close the loop from support interactions back into on-site experiences.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Experience working in ecommerce in a manufacturing/engineering (B2B) environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the ecommerce customer journey and the underlying metrics that support it.
Essential/Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, FullStory, Power BI and other analytical and customer experience improvement tools.
- Experience with SAP, SalesForce, HubSpot or other ERP, CRM and Marketing Automation platforms is a plus.
- Ability to interpret an online and offline customer journey through data and build out the necessary data set to find opportunities, identify issues and suggest actions to improve.
- Ability to use data-backed reasoning to prioritize and create project plans for large-scale projects.
