Dynament Infrared Gas Sensors, a division of DwyerOmega, designs and manufactures a range of electronic sensors and instruments, specialising in fluid and gas sensing products that have been supplied to multiple industries for many years.
We seek a motivated and flexible production operator who has experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; an electronic manufacturing background is advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assembly of products and/or completion of sub-level operations according to established specifications and instructions.
- Monitoring the function of all equipment and reporting any problems or substandard condition to the supervisor.
- Using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure work is completed to schedule.
- Ensure all documentation including logbooks is maintained according to standard operating procedures.
- Performing equipment assembly according to engineering drawings, standard operating procedures and/or assembly manuals.
- Cleaning of parts as per established cleaning procedures.
- Pre-assembly activities such as cleaning and lubricating.
- Completion of pre-use checks on equipment and processes.
- Perform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacing, refitting, and adjusting products as required.
- Maintaining high quality standard of work to ensure no defects are passed to the next process.
- Ensure full compliance of Health and Safety procedures including SOP adherence, PPE and Workwear and incident investigations.
- Sustaining good housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Following standard procedures to deliver SQDCP targets.
Requirements
- Must be able to operate within a ‘SAFETY FIRST’ culture.
- Must be able to operate within a ‘Quality culture of ‘RIGHT FIRST TIME’.
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing or electronics business is desirable.
