Dynament Infrared Gas Sensors, a division of DwyerOmega, designs and manufactures a range of electronic sensors and instruments, specialising in fluid and gas sensing products that have been supplied to multiple industries for over 20 years.
The Role
We seek a motivated and flexible Test Engineer who has experience of working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment; an electronic manufacturing background is advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing high precision calibration and advanced adjustments using testing instruments.
- Conducting product testing and performance testing to standards defined in engineering drawings, standard operating procedures and/or assembly manuals.
- Recording and analysis of test results.
- Calibrating products to ensure conformance to required quality and certification standards.
- Using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure work is completed to schedule.
- Ensuring all documentation including logbooks is maintained according to standard operating procedures.
- Completion of pre‑use checks on equipment and processes.
- Ensure full compliance of Health and Safety procedures including SOP adherence, PPE and Workwear and incident investigations.
- Sustain good housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Following standard procedures to deliver SQDCP targets.
Requirements
- Must be able to operate within a ‘SAFETY FIRST’ culture.
- Must be able to operate within a ‘Quality culture of ‘RIGHT FIRST TIME’.
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing or electronics business is desirable.
- Safety and quality conscious.
- Technically minded and able to analyse complex data to inform decision making.
- Fluent in IT skills.
- Able to work with others and contribute to the team.
- Open minded and able to embrace change.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A ‘Can‑do’ attitude to deliver results in the right way.
- Passion and flexibility to ensure we deliver our business strategies.
Our fixed hours are Monday - Thursday 07:30-17:00.
