Team / Division Overview: The Passive Portfolio Management Team manages X-trackers across Equity and Fixed Income ETFs and mandates, covering various index providers and ESG flavors. With a global presence in 17 locations and approximately 900 investment professionals, our team plays a key role in managing diverse investment strategies. You will serve as a Portfolio Engineer within this team.
Role Details
As an Equity Portfolio Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Managing daily index equity portfolios, including construction and trade execution.
- Supporting efficient management of client flows.
- Managing investment and risk exposures, developing hedging strategies as needed.
- Optimizing portfolio strategies to minimize tracking error and ensure accurate trading during corporate actions and cash flows.
- Contributing to projects that improve efficiency and automation.
- Collaborating with trading desks on execution strategies.
- Participating in product development processes.
- Overseeing NAV, portfolio reconciliation, and performance attribution analyses.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong knowledge of financial products across Equities, Fixed Income, or Commodities, including index, synthetic, delta-one, or derivatives.
- Experience in Portfolio Management, Trading, or Index Research, with skills in portfolio construction, performance attribution, and ETF servicing.
- Understanding of index methodologies from providers like FTSE, S&P, MSCI.
- Proficiency in Python, VBA, Excel, and familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset, Aladdin, Barra BPM, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of rebalancing trading strategies.
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent work experience.
