What you’ll be responsible for:
- Dealing with our initial customer response to sewerage incidents across the business area.
- Undertaking all aspects of sewerage network maintenance both reactively and planned.
- Working within a shift rota as well as participating in standby rota to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Responding to customer reported incidents and clearing blockages/jetting and providing detailed feedback on actions taken.
- Sewer network inspections (including Sewer connections).
- Jetting/Flushing/De-silting of Sewers/Lone Working.
- Planned and reactive maintenance of assets.
- Liaison with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to operate and assess asset condition utilising looksee CCTV equipment.
- Cleaning up affected area following flooding events.
- Surface water rebate inspections.
The shift rota will involve weekend and evening work. You will be expected to comply with all current Health & Safety legislation and carry out your own risk assessments. You will receive job instructions via an electronic work management system and be expected to provide detailed feedback via the same route.

- External: Welsh Water customers, Members of the public.
