What you’ll be responsible for
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Asset Management
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and continuous improvement of wastewater network contracts.
- Ensure contract delivery meets statutory, regulatory, financial and governance requirements while achieving value for money.
- Provide commercial advice and support to operational teams, promoting best practice across the framework.
- Develop, maintain and analyse financial models, forecasts and cost reporting for network operations.
- Review costs, assess payments and resolve commercial queries in line with contractual requirements.
- Produce accurate financial information to support reporting, budgeting, accruals and forecasting.
- Monitor contract performance, activity volumes and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate contract records and ensure data quality across relevant systems, including SAP.
- Support the management of compensation events and other contractual changes.
- Undertake site visits as required to validate completed works and contract performance.
- Prepare and present performance and financial information to stakeholders and management forums.
- Contribute to service continuity, benchmarking and continuous improvement initiatives across Asset Management.
About you
Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills
- Experience of working with NEC contracts
- Good communication skills and comfortable reporting to Waste Water Network Management Team as required
- Ability to analyse, interpret and present financial information to ensure appropriate business decisions are taken
- Ability to interpret and apply statutory and regulatory standards to achieve best business outcome
- Excellent IT skills are required in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Full driving licence and ability to travel frequently as per business requirements
