Responsibilities:
- Serving customers and waiting on tables
- Operating the till, handling cash and card payments
- Ensuring a courteous and friendly service is provided to each and every customer
- Striving to develop and improve the customer experience offering
- Displaying food items and restocking the counter
- Ensuring that tables and areas are kept clean and available for customers
- Undertaking any other duties as required by the Catering Manager to meet the needs of the business
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who are positive, friendly, can work independently, and are passionate about working with the general public. Full training will be provided for this role, but experience in food service or retail industry would be beneficial.
Good to know:
- Weekend shifts, minimum six hours to be worked each weekend between the hours 09:00 – 17:00.
- Possibility of additional hours during peak times and evenings.
- A satisfactory DBS check will be required prior to start date for all successful applicants.
- Due to the nature of the industry, satisfactory references, post‑offer medical clearance, and a criminal records Basic Disclosure check are required for all new employees.
- Additional checks and security clearance may be required for certain roles.
