The role requires serving customers, operating the till, ensuring courteous service, maintaining cleanliness, and performing other duties as assigned by the Catering Manager. The position is based at Llyn Brenig, a remote site. Applicants must have a driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers and wait on tables.
  • Operate the till, handle cash and card payments.
  • Ensure courteous and friendly service to all customers.
  • Strive to develop and improve the customer experience.
  • Display food items and restock the counter.
  • Keep tables and areas clean and available for customers.
  • Undertake any other duties as required by the Catering Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in kitchen work or with a brista machine.
  • Past food hygiene training.
  • Positive, friendly attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Passion for working with the general public.
  • Sufficient driving skills with valid licence; own transport is essential.

Work Hours & Schedule

  • Maximum of 5 shifts per week.
  • Winter hours: 9:00‑15:00; Summer hours: 8:00‑17:00.
  • Llyn Brenig operates 7 days per week; regular weekend and bank holiday work is required.
  • Seasonal positions initially run during summer holidays with potential for future shifts.
