Senior Finance Business Partner Manchester (2 days per week) Up to £90,000 + bonus An ambitious, private equity-backed organisation is looking to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner into its Manchester-based finance function. This is a high-impact role for a finance professional who enjoys operating beyond traditional reporting and wants to be closely involved in the commercial direction of a business. You'll take ownership of the finance partnering relationship with significant business areas generating approximately £50m of revenue, working closely with senior operational and commercial stakeholders to improve performance, profitability and decision-making. What will you be doing? You'll become a trusted finance adviser to senior leaders, using financial and commercial insight to challenge performance, identify opportunities and support better business decisions. Responsibilities will include: Taking ownership of the financial relationship with major business areas, providing insight into performance, margins, profitability and key drivers. Developing meaningful management information and analysis, translating financial data into clear recommendations for non-finance stakeholders. Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, ensuring financial plans reflect the underlying commercial strategy. Supporting senior stakeholders with pricing, remuneration, resource planning and other commercially important decisions. Partnering with operational and resourcing teams to understand demand, capacity and workforce requirements. Playing a key finance role in the integration of newly acquired businesses, helping to establish consistent reporting, KPIs, processes and controls. Identifying opportunities to improve systems, reporting and ways of working across the wider organisation. Leading finance-related projects covering areas such as systems implementation, process improvement, training and new methodologies.
