Join the team delivering some of Europe's largest digital transformation programmes, designing modern IT architecture that supports millions of users. As a Senior Technical Architect, you'll lead the design of complex systems and services, providing expert guidance, shaping technical solutions, and ensuring alignment with wider government strategy.
Working collaboratively across teams and stakeholders, you'll develop architecture options, govern technical quality, and mentor others, playing a key role in delivering user-focused, accessible digital services.
Architecture design across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments involving networking, security, presentation, middleware, database, and integration aspects.
Architecture design working with project delivery teams within agile, waterfall, and hybrid environments throughout the lifecycle - from concept to go-live. Event-based architecture design, patterns (including pub-sub and data streaming), modelling techniques, tools, and standards.
Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £83,917.
