You and your role:
As an Associate Service Transition Manager within DWP's Digital Channels Live Service Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring new and updated IT services are introduced into live environments safely, smoothly and with minimal disruption. You will support the end-to-end coordination of service transitions for critical, high-impact digital services, helping define service readiness, acceptance criteria and transition plans, ensuring all governance, risk and assurance requirements are met.
What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
- Proven background/experience in recognised service management frameworks (such as ITIL).
- Project Management & Delivery Methodologies: proven background/experience in project and delivery methodologies (such as Agile).
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: The ability to work confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Risk Assessment & Assurance: Strong capability in identifying, assessing and managing service transition risks.
- Planning, Coordination & Attention to Detail: Proven skill in coordinating complex activities across multiple teams.
Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle-upon-Tyne or Sheffield.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of Β£38,772.
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.
