We are looking for a Senior Change Manager to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital.

You are your role
As a Senior Digital Change Manager in Scheduling, you will play a pivotal role in planning and integrating major digital activities across the entire DWP estate. Your work will ensure that change is delivered smoothly, strategically, and in alignment with DWP\’s digital transformation goals.
You will own and manage the Enterprise Forward Schedule of Change, ensuring it remains accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with delivery plans. This involves proactively engaging stakeholders to gather insights, identify risks, and resolve issues early to support smooth and coordinated digital change across DWP.
Your role will involve chairing stakeholder meetings, driving strategic alignment, and supporting continuous service improvement initiatives. You\’ll take a broad, forward-looking view of delivery timelines, helping to coordinate complex programmes of work and facilitate release movements within delivery windows. Collaboration across Live Operations functions will be essential, and while not mandatory, ITIL or equivalent accreditation would be beneficial.

- Extensive and demonstrable experience of coordinating and scheduling multiple complex delivery programmes and events to optimise delivery cadence at the same time as protecting live service.
- Demonstrable skills in consultancy, project management, ITIL service delivery and Service Management.
- Experience in the development and implementation of new processes and/or technology solutions to drive service improvement
- Experience of business and technical drivers in the context of the IT System Lifecycle, including Application Development, with the experience to recognize and identify potential conflicts of interest when necessary.
- Experience of risk methodology, change management and planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across a wide network of stakeholders

Location: You\’ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hub/s in Blackpool or Newcastle, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model – you\’ll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £68, 205.
Pension: You\’ll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to £X per year.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.
You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You\’ll also get all the usual public holidays.
