We help people into work, and make payments worth over £195bn a year to support and empower millions of people. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless delivery of change across one of the largest digital estates in the UK.

Your role will involve chairing stakeholder meetings, driving strategic alignment, and supporting continuous service improvement initiatives. You\’ll take a broad, forward-looking view of delivery timelines, helping to coordinate complex programmes of work and facilitate release movements within delivery windows. Collaboration across Live Operations functions will be essential, and while not mandatory, ITIL or equivalent accreditation would be beneficial.
What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? How will this be assessed?
Our application process requires a technical and personal statement. This is your opportunity to provide clear evidence-based examples of how you demonstrate the following criteria:
Extensive and demonstrable experience of coordinating and scheduling multiple complex delivery programmes and events to optimise delivery cadence at the same time as protecting live service.
Demonstrable skills in consultancy, project management, ITIL service delivery and Service Management.
Experience in the development and implementation of new processes and/or technology solutions to drive service improvement
Experience of business and technical drivers in the context of the IT System Lifecycle, including Application Development, with the experience to recognize and identify potential conflicts of interest when necessary.
Experience of risk methodology, change management and planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across a wide network of stakeholders
