We are looking for a Senior Business Relationship Manager who has knowledge of payment services to manage our Digital Payment Services demand. This role is all about building good relationships to drive improvement in the delivery of projects, products, and services.

You will liaise with stakeholders at all levels from request through to delivery, promoting transparency and identifying any need for improvements across the process. As a Business Relationship Manager, you will be a trusted partner to business areas, representing the users' digital needs and ensuring that these are communicated to the appropriate IT function.

For this role, it would be helpful to have one of the following:

  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification
  • ITIL BRM certification

You and your role: As a Business Relationship Manager, you will be a trusted partner to business areas, representing the users' digital needs and ensuring that these are communicated to the appropriate IT function. You'll inform business strategy in a positive and impactful way through reduction of costs, improvement of service issues, and enhanced user experience through gaining your understanding and championing our departmental commitment to continuous improvement.

You will support the Senior Business Relationship Manager in promoting products and services, signposting to subject matter experts, removing any blocks, and generally managing the expectations of your stakeholders. Networking building across the department is key to success in this role. You will be comfortable challenging and influencing senior stakeholders, as well as sharing the information you've acquired through understanding the needs of users, customers, suppliers, and partners.

Location: You’ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, or Newcastle, whichever is most convenient for you. Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you’ll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay: We offer competitive pay of £42,614. Pension: You’ll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%. Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time. You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You’ll also get all the usual public holidays.
