As an Associate Service Transition Manager within DWP's Digital Channels Live Service Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring new and updated IT services are introduced into live environments safely, smoothly and with minimal disruption. You will support the end-to-end coordination of service transitions for critical, high-impact digital services, helping define service readiness, acceptance criteria and transition plans, ensuring all governance, risk and assurance requirements are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating resources and managing change through structured processes.
- Overseeing service validation to protect stability and user experience.
- Producing key documentation and assessing readiness for live operation.
- Identifying and managing risks and issues.

- Proven background/experience in recognised service management frameworks (such as ITIL).
- Experience in project management and delivery methodologies (such as Agile).
- Ability to engage and communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.

- Proven skill in coordinating complex activities across multiple teams.
Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle-upon-Tyne or Sheffield.
