Are you a technical lead with strong ServiceNow development expertise and solid knowledge of SecOps or ITSM frameworks and practices? We're looking for an engaging leader with strong ServiceNow development expertise and a background in either Security or IT Service Management.
As we expand our team we're seeking experienced consultants with knowledge across security areas such as incident response, vulnerability and threat intelligence or IT operations including incident management, CSDM and CMDB.
As a ServiceNow Senior Technical Lead, you'll lead the design, development and delivery of secure high-performing solutions that support DWP's cybersecurity and service performance ecosystems. You'll combine advanced technical skills with knowledge of security, automation, risk or IT operations to build resilient and compliant enterprise applications.
Solid understanding of cyber security or IT operations controls, with the ability to design solutions that enable defence-in-depth, embedded security or AI-driven automation.
Proven track record of delivering and implementing ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) or IT Operations modules in enterprise environments.
As a ServiceNow Senior Technical Lead (Developer), you will provide expert-level ServiceNow capability alongside deep knowledge of either cybersecurity or IT operations, supporting project teams with complex platform implementations, integrations and design decisions.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities and agreeing approaches to ServiceNow development, tooling and strategic improvements.
In this role, you will offer clear and pragmatic guidance on challenges arising from ServiceNow programmes, including the implementation of new security, risk or IT operational capabilities, helping teams navigate complexity and deliver effective solutions.
You will be responsible for managing delivery against the ServiceNow technical roadmap within your area, ensuring all activity aligns with platform architecture, security standards and agreed technical principles.
You will also advise senior stakeholders on the ongoing evolution of the ServiceNow platform, including feasibility of enhancements, delivery approaches and timelines while working closely with production, security and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions are secure, resilient and scalable.
Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
The maximum salary for the grade is £80,267, however a Digital Allowance of up to £12,255 per annum subject to our assessment of your capability at interview.
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%, worth £21,735 per year.
Holidays: You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
