We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant with a strong ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end solutions. The ideal candidate will act as an individual contributor with a proven track record in implementing SAC Planning functionalities across diverse business environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the full lifecycle of SAC Planning solution delivery, from requirements gathering to final implementation and support.
- Conduct and lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements effectively.
- Translate business needs into comprehensive SAC Planning designs and solution architecture.
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced planning models, data actions, and visual stories using SAC Planning capabilities.
- Ensure seamless integration and data management from source systems to SAC, including data loads, transformations, and scheduling.
- Implement effective security strategies and user role management in SAC to ensure data integrity and access control.
- Optimize performance and usability of planning models using best practices in data modeling and advanced formula logic.
Core Competencies (Mandatory):
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Confident in facilitating workshops and engaging with senior business users.
- Workshops & Requirements Gathering: Experience leading business and technical workshops to gather requirements and convert them into actionable design specifications.
- Hands-on SAC Planning Expertise: Advanced Data Modeling techniques for planning and forecasting. Complex Story Design with dynamic visualizations and input-ready grids. Proficiency in Advanced Formulas (e.g., scripting in Advanced Formula Editor). Development and management of Data Actions, Calendar Tasks, and Processes. Design and implementation of Security Strategy and data access controls. Strong experience with Data Integration – loading, transforming, and managing data from source systems (e.g., S/4HANA, BW, flat files) for planning purposes.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with basic reporting and analytics functionalities in SAC (non-planning use cases).
- Understanding of integration with other SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, BW/4HANA).
- Exposure to predictive planning or machine learning integration in SAC is a plus.
