Mission:
Support a customer engagement involving an Informatica platform update and environment relocation. The focus is on the technical move and version uplift - not on building new data pipelines. Some post-migration fixes to existing batch workflows may be needed, but no new workflow development is required.
Technical Proficiency:
- Create a detailed target architecture blueprint for the OCI migration
- Calculate resource requirements for Informatica Power Center and Power Exchange
- Execute a staged repository upgrade from v9 to v10.5.8
- Roll out the target cloud environment
- Stand up the upgraded Domain and Repository
- Implement Power Exchange Change Data Capture
- Validate and repair batch workflows
- Produce a cutover playbook for the migration
- Comfort with Bash, Python, or PERL Scripting
