About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Cyber & Resilience Consulting Director to lead and expand our advisory services in cyber security, resilience, and risk management. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for driving client engagements, developing market propositions, building high-performing teams, and shaping the firm’s cyber and resilience strategy. The successful candidate will combine deep subject matter expertise with strong commercial acumen, the ability to influence at C-suite level, and a proven track record of delivering transformational outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Define and execute the firm’s cyber and resilience consulting strategy.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to boards, executives, and regulators on cyber risk, resilience, and compliance.
    • Drive thought leadership, market positioning, and innovation in service offerings.
  • Client Engagement & Delivery
    • Lead complex consulting engagements, ensuring quality, scalability, and measurable outcomes.
    • Support clients in building resilience strategies covering cyber security, operational continuity, and incident response.
    • Oversee delivery of regulatory-driven resilience programs (e.g., DORA, NIS2, critical infrastructure requirements).
  • Practice Development
    • Build, mentor, and lead multidisciplinary consulting teams.
    • Develop go-to-market propositions and frameworks that differentiate the firm.
    • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in alignment with growth objectives.
  • Risk & Compliance Expertise
    • Provide deep expertise across regulatory, technical, and operational resilience domains.
    • Stay ahead of emerging threats, regulatory shifts, and industry standards.
    • Guide clients on integrating resilience with enterprise risk management and governance.

Key Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in cyber security, operational resilience, or risk consulting, ideally within a top-tier consultancy, financial services, or critical infrastructure environment.
  • Strong track record of shaping and delivering large-scale resilience, cyber risk, or regulatory transformation programs.
  • Excellent knowledge of global regulations and standards (e.g., DORA, NIS2, ISO 22301/27001, NIST CSF, operational resilience frameworks).
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing senior stakeholders, and driving business growth.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to operate at board and executive committee level.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP, or equivalent) highly desirable.
  • Degree in Cyber Security, Risk Management, Information Technology, or related field; advanced qualifications preferred.
