Supervisor – Motor Bodily Injury (Litigation)

DWF are seeking a pro-active and experienced Supervisor to join their Defendant Bodily Injury Litigation team.

The successful candidate will lead a team of paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring the effective handling and resolution of motor personal injury claims. This position offers an excellent opportunity for leadership and career advancement within a leading legal firm.

The Defendant Bodily Injury Litigation team advise and defend litigated road traffic accident (RTA) claims for a number of large insurer clients, as well as bringing counterclaims. The team deal with cases in the MOJ, OIC, Fast Track and Intermediate Track claims.

The role is office based, and in time with scope to work a hybrid pattern.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of paralegals and legal assistants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Champion best practice and quality. Assist with supporting the team\’s professional growth and development.
  • Enhance client outcomes by ensuring the team work to client expectations.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and provide expert advice on motor damage claims.
  • Perform administrative duties related to team management, including 1 to 1s and performance reviews.

What will help you succeed in this role?

  • Tangible experience within personal injury ideally at Senior Paralegal or Supervisor level.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with legal databases.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
