DWF are seeking a talented Senior Associate to join our growing Birmingham employment team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to the development of the team while working closely with Partners to drive the practice forward.
Responsibilities
- You will manage a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment work.
- Advising clients in a range of sectors on the full range of employment law issues, including redundancy, disciplinary matters, grievances, whistleblowing, discrimination and detriment claims.
- Leading on Employment Tribunal matters.
- Working with Corporate colleagues to provide transactional support.
- Advising in relation to change and restructuring projects, changing terms and conditions and consultation requirements.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential Requirements:
- Ideally, between 5 - 10 years PQE in Employment Law.
- Previous experience of managing your own caseload.
- Strong technical knowledge.
Desirable Requirements:
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
- Ability to analyse complex legal issues and provide clear guidance.
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise.
