Paralegal - Motor Credit Hire

The Motor – Credit Hire team at DWF are currently looking for a Paralegal to join their dynamic and supportive team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a collaborative environment, working on a varied caseload for high‑profile clients.

The role is hybrid with office attendance required 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of Credit Hire claims, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in handling.
• Conducting legal research and drafting documents, including defences, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
• Liaising with clients, insurers, and third parties to ensure effective communication and case progression.
• Providing support to senior fee earners and contributing to team targets.
• Ensuring compliance with DWF’s standards and regulatory requirements.

Essential

• Proven experience working as a Paralegal in Credit Hire or a related legal area.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Desirable

• A strong understanding of Credit Hire litigation processes and principles.
