Why join us? DWF are currently seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal or Newly Qualified (NQ) Solicitor to join their award-winning Fraud team in Manchester or Birmingham. Our Fraud team is known for handling a variety of intricate cases across the insurance sector, making us the preferred choice for clients looking for innovative and practical solutions. The role is hybrid with office attendance required 2 days per week minimum.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of litigated fraud cases (typically motor or casualty).
- Assist senior fee earners on complex or high-value fraud matters.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and prepare trial bundles.
- Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties throughout the litigation process.
- Use intelligence tools and databases to identify fraud patterns and support investigations.
- Play a key role in achieving excellent outcomes for insurer clients.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- An experienced Paralegal or newly qualified Solicitor.
- Experience handling/assisting on litigated personal injury or fraud matters (motor experience desirable).
- A strong understanding of the CPR and civil litigation process.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong drafting skills.
- Confidence in working to deadlines and managing a varied caseload.
- A genuine interest in insurance fraud and a proactive, problem‐solving mindset.
