The Commercial Insurance team at DWF is seeking a Lead Paralegal in Manchester. This hybrid role offers 1–2 days per week in office, a collaborative environment, and exposure to property‑related claims.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior team members with varied caseloads, including property casualty, property damage, product liability, and subrogated recovery claims.
  • Prioritise workload to maximise efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Develop technical and commercial knowledge through training, supervision, and day‑to‑day casework.
  • Support the team in delivering a high standard of service to insurer clients.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience within Commercial Insurance, particularly Property Damage and/or Recoveries.
  • Previous experience working in a legal environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to strict deadlines.
