The eDiscovery team at DWF is looking for a junior eDiscovery Analyst to join an established and agile in‑house eDiscovery team. The role offers an entry point into the eDiscovery industry within a fast‑paced law firm environment, working directly on complex, high‑profile eDiscovery matters and gaining hands‑on experience supporting nationally and internationally significant cases. The role is open to both graduates from a technology background with strong aptitude and individuals with existing eDiscovery experience. For the right applicant, we have the support structure in place to further develop your existing expertise and potential. The role offers the flexibility of hybrid working with 2 days per week in the Manchester office.
Responsibilities
- Deliver consultative eDiscovery support to clients and provide project support across multiple concurrent matters of varying complexity, scale, and geographic scope.
- Ensure the successful delivery of eDiscovery services, including data preservation, collection, and processing.
- Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting issues and developing effective solutions.
- Perform advanced searches across large electronic data sets to support investigations and reviews.
- Identify opportunities to optimise data sets and reduce data volumes.
- Implement and manage AI‑enabled workflows to support document review and analysis.
- Conduct review quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and apply a range of legal technology solutions to address client challenges and improve processes.
Essential
- A degree in a technical discipline such as Digital Forensics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field, or a legal/legal technology background with an interest in technology and data.
- Well‑developed analytical skills with the ability to work with large volumes of data and identify patterns or inconsistencies.
