DWF LLP is seeking to recruit a Paralegal with experience in Motor Recoveries work to join the nationally recognised insurance team, based in Scotland. The successful candidate gains exposure and experience working with Tier 1 insurance providers throughout Scotland and across a variety of cases. The role can be based from either of our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload for insurers, with a focus on defending Motor Recoveries, Motor Fraud and general motor claims.
- You will work closely with Partners and Senior Associates to support the progression of their cases, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This includes drafting legal documents and instructions to experts, maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail in all written work.
- You will liaise with clients and key stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and ensure smooth case progression.
- A key part of the role will also involve conducting thorough research to support legal strategies and case development.
Essential Requirements
- Previous Paralegal experience working on defending Motor Recoveries, Motor Fraud and general motor or RTA claims.
- Previous Paralegal experience in Scotland is ESSENTIAL for this role.
- Scottish legal qualifications.
- Experience in handling Personal Injury, Serious Injury, Large Loss, Motor, RTA or EL/PL litigation (pursuer or defender).

- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Background in working within a busy commercial environment.
