DWF is seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded Senior Associate to join our nationally renowned Insurance Fraud team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your legal career within a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, working with major insurers and household name clients on complex, high-value fraud litigation. The role is for our Birmingham team but we can be flexible on candidate location and office locations; we will also consider candidates in Manchester, office attendance is likely once per week.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on complex and high-value fraudulent claims, including motor, EL/PL, staged/contrived accidents, and organised fraud rings.
- Supervise junior team members and contribute to training and development.
- Build strong client relationships with major insurers, delivering strategic and technical advice.
- Play a key role in business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the Fraud practice.
- Engage in litigation strategy, advocacy, and trial preparation for technically challenging matters.

- 3+ years PQE with strong experience in insurance fraud litigation (claimant or defendant).
- A proven track record of running a complex caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Commercial acumen and experience in delivering excellent client service.
- A proactive approach to file strategy, innovation, and cost management.
