DWF is recruiting for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join its nationally recognised Insurance Fraud team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to advance your legal career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You’ll be working alongside leading insurers and high-profile clients on complex, high-value fraud litigation matters, contributing to one of the most respected teams in the field. This role offers a hybrid based model which can be based from either Manchester or Birmingham.

Overview

Role: Associate – Fraud & Motor Team, DWF.

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on complex and high-value fraudulent claims, including motor, EL/PL, staged/contrived accidents, and organised fraud rings.
  • Build strong client relationships with major insurers, delivering strategic and technical advice.
  • Play a key role in business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the Fraud practice.
  • Engage in litigation strategy, advocacy, and trial preparation for technically challenging matters.

What will help you succeed in this role?

Essential Criteria

  • 1-4 years PQE with strong experience in insurance fraud litigation (claimant or defendant).
  • A proven track record of running a complex caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Commercial acumen and experience in delivering excellent client service.
  • A proactive approach to file strategy, innovation, and cost management.
