Our General Insurance team at DWF is growing, and we are excited to welcome a Solicitor who wants to make an impact within a dynamic practice. Working across Casualty, Disease, Criminal Defence, EL/PL & RTA, you’ll play a key role in handling an engaging caseload of criminal defence matters involving RTA prosecutions.

As a valued Solicitor within our General Insurance team, you’ll immerse yourself in a varied and stimulating workload, including:
- Managing a caseload of predominantly criminal defence (mainly RTA-related) matters
- Contributing to civil personal injury defence cases where required
- Prioritising and organising work effectively to meet key court deadlines and client SLA expectations
- Building strong internal and external relationships to support business development and contribute to the Firm’s broader strategic goals
Essential Criteria:
- 1+ years PQE, ideally within criminal defence
- Experience in civil defence work is beneficial but not essential
- Scottish Qualified
